Shamoon Altaf is not just a photographer. He is a multidisciplinary artist who has spent over 25 years working at the intersection of color, light, and visual communication.
His journey started in graphic design. Over time it evolved into commercial photography, creative direction, and brand visual strategy. Today he brings all of that together at altStudio.
Shamoon has worked with local and international clients across some of the most demanding industries in Pakistan, from high-end fashion to corporate giants. His eye for color accuracy and lighting is what makes altStudio’s work consistently stand out.

altStudio was formally founded in 2020, but the work behind it started much earlier.
Shamoon has been working as a commercial photographer since 2006, helping businesses across Pakistan use photography as a serious business tool. By the time altStudio launched, it was not a new idea. It was a focused, refined version of nearly two decades of experience.
Today altStudio specializes in product photography for eCommerce, Amazon, and brand campaigns. Our studio is based on Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi, and we serve clients from across Pakistan and internationally.
